Installing disk brakes on a fork without disk tabs
I have a nice Velocity front wheel configured for disk brakes that I would like to install on a bike that doesn't currently have disk tabs. Does anyone know of any options for marrying the two?
- Are there disk tabs that can be installed after the fact?
- Can I get some tabs welded on somewhere?
- Alternatively, can I take a wheel with disk configuration (i.e. non-machined rims) and have it machined to accept "regular" brakes?
Thanks for your help.
