How to adjust shifter
I have a Trek 820 mtb. When I'm in the lowest gear, the chain wants to come off the large rear sprocket and get into the spokes.
How do I adjust it so it doesn't do this?
BTW, I'm fairly adept with tools, but I'm not very familiar with working on bikes. I need instructions.
Thanks

There are a pair of screws on the rear derailler, one labelled "H" (high) one "L" (low). Screw in the low one a quarter turn, see if it fixes it, if not screw it in another quarter turn.
