Question About Chainring Sizing, 110mm?

My current quest is to find a smaller inner chainring for my bicycle. I currently have a Truvativ Rouleur crankset with 50/36 chainrings but i'm looking for a 34t inner chainring to help with climbing hills.

So far i've found a FSA 34t chainring here:

http://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...Chainring.aspx

The description says "Black, 110mm, 34 Tooth, 9/10 SPD, Inner". I've got it all figured out except for the 110mm portion. What measurement is that exactly? Is that the spacing between the bolt holes? Diameter? Something else i've never imagined? And if anybody happens to know, will it fit my crankset? (i ask because i will most likely not be anywhere near my bicycle next time i read this thread to check and take measurements)

Thanks!

Bolt circle diameter. 110 rings will fit 110 cranks.
