26.4 track/bullhorn bar?

I'm trying to find a bullhorn/track bar in 26.4 or close, to fit a Cinelli stem. All the
bars I've found are 26.0, or so expensive I cannot afford them. Are there any options?
It's the only thing really holding back my project. everything else is affordable and/or
readily available. I would even trade an old set of drop bars on the stem now, if someone
has a bar in 26.4?,,,,BD

It's just that I have the stem, and want to use it for this project if possible.....

cut a strip out of a beer can and wrap it around the bars.

This would be my first ever shim on a handlebar, and for this bike I would rather not do it. UNless someone can guarantee it will not fail?,,,,BD

There are no guarantees in this world... but a pair of scissors, a beer can, a ruler, a pencil, two minutes of careful measuring and cutting, a wrap around the handlebars and you're done.

What have you got to lose except a wad of money or a heap of time searching?

Maybe a couple of my front teeth?,,,,BD

Seriously though, I would rather not shim. I would change the stem before that.

I used the beer can shim on my fixie for the same set up you are describing: a Nitto bullhorn paired to a cinelli stem. It worked well for the year or so that I used it. Now I have 3T drop handlebars paired to a cinelli stem with the same sizing issues and guess what? I used the beer can shim to solve my problem.

The last time I shimmed a bar, it slipped a little. No injuries, but I wasn't willing to risk it after that. btw you know that a bullhorn and a track bar are very different things, right?

ebay - I bought a NOS drop pair not too long ago for not very much since demand is low. But you might not find pursuit bars.

I don't like the side drop, seems like it would put me under the top tube. I guess I will toss the
stem in the parts bin and start over with a 25.4(or 26.0). Who would have thought 26.4 stuff was so hard to find. Thanks guys.,,,,BD

Didn't catch the bars are two different things comment. Everyone else here seemed to know what I meant, regardless of what I may have typed. Was not aware. Sorry! I meant time trial I guess.,,,,BD
