7 speeds, 10 speed cogs.
I was thinking this:
Can I add spacers to a ten speed cassette, essentialy making it a more compact 7 speed cassette, all closer to the wheel?
Thanks
Alex

If you change the cog to cog spacing, you will need shifters that match the new spacing or you your indexing will be completely off. If you want to use friction shifting, then ignore this. Also, if you have 10 speed spacers in your cassette, you will need to use a 10 speed chain, wider chains will jam up between the cogs.
