    Mixing Campy parts

I plan to do some creative upgrading this year. I want to add a 07 crank and and 06 or 07 derailleurs, whatever I can find the best deal on. Will my ~2004 brifters do the work with the new derailleurs? I realize I will not get the new QS function but I am ok with that....for the moment at least.....

    Thanks for your help,

What are your ergos...Record, chorus, daytona,...? Check out Campyonly.com or the campagnolo website.

Group level doesn't matter. Campy is interchangable from Xenon to Record. The new 2007 ft der is a little different than in years past. Try to keep your pre 2007 brifters with a pre 2007 ft der. Lots of riders are just swapping in new cranks, Ultra Torque, and using their old groups. Good luck

Thanks for the comments. I did hear from a few more places that it would be fine I just would not get the QS function on the front shifter. I am ok with that....I was just hoping to Ebay a few items and do some upgrading....

Thanks again for your comments...they are very helpful..
