Frame size to wheel size - Does it matter?
I'm just now getting back in to biking after not having ridden in years. I dusted off my old 24" FreeSpirit mountain bike and it's seeing it's first action in probably about 8 or 9 years. It's still in good shape and I'd like to keep it a while, but I've found that, surprise, I've grown over the years and a 26" bike would suit me better. Is there some way to modify my old bike with 26" wheels or are frames built for a specific wheel size?

Frames are built for a specific wheel size. You should certainly consider purchasing an adult sized bicycle that will fit your properly. Maybe you can sell your freespirit on craigslist or somthing?
