fix-a-flat
my new "puncture resistant" tires have a small problem.
i keep getting flats.
every once in a while a shard of glass will find its way into a certain indent in the tire and pierce the tube.
it's the same spot every time.
is there a way to plug that micro-hole? a dab of super glue or something?

Sounds to me like the shard of glass, or whatever it is, is still hiding out in the tire. This is pretty common, you don't see it on casual inspection but the flexing and compressing of the tire rubber moves the sharp bit enough to cut the tube again and again until you remove it. You have to take the tire off, turn it inside out, and get in there with a pin or something small and pointy and dig until you get it out.

i've done this. problem is it leaves a tiny hole in the tire and more glass gets wedged in the hole.
any way to plug it?

Shoe goo to seal the outer tread. Then use a normal flat patch glued to the inside of the casing for good measure.
I had the same thing happen last weekend. Despite a thorough deglassing, a shard of glass found it's way into the ONE hole in the tread of the tire.
