chainring questions
was installing pedals on my new bike and i noticed something strange...
the teeth on my outer chainring are of different shapes. not only are some of the teeth shaped differently, but the valleys between them are shaped differently too. some teeth/valleys are raked forward, others are symmetric. the bike only has about 1 mile on it, so it's not like it's from wear and tear (picked it up monday and STILL have been too busy to ride it).
are all chainrings made that way? (its a 105 crankset). OR, am i just dellusional?
