Stem and shimms
Can I use any threadless 1 1/8 diameter stem (with shimm) on 1.0 fork? When browsing online catalogs
I noticed some stems are sold with 1.0 shims and some without.New Ritchey WSC is "for 1 1/8 steerer dia only".I'm replacing my 1 inch threaded fork with threadless.
thank you

I'd take Ritchey at it's word if I were going to install their stem on a 1" carbon steerer.
If you have a Cr-Mo or Al steerer on your new fork, the shim should be perfectly fine to use.
