Frozen freewheel -- help

Against better judgement, I rode my SS bike for 25 miles yesterday along a silty trail. An hour or so into the ride the snow and ice below was melting, quickly encasing my bike and I in very fine silt. I rinsed off the frame and wheels later but damn if today my White Ind. freewheel won't turn.

Is this a matter of simply (?) taking the FW apart and wiping it down -- or is something else afoot with the pawls?

Thanks.
