    Spacer for Ksyrium rear hub....

Hi - I bought a set of Mavic Ksyriums in January - I took them out of the box and then put them away until spring. Last night after cleaning up the bike I figured spring is now here & time to put on new wheels and tires. Unfortunately, I must have misplaced the spacer for the rear hub - does anyone know the width of this spacer so I can see if the have it at my LBS? The Ksyrium requires 2 spacers - one on the hub plus the original Shimano 10 speed cassette.

    Thanks!
    Bob

The Mavic spacer is 2mm. The one that is on the DA 10 speed hub is 1mm.

Anyone have an idea of where to get such a spacer? I've checked w/ 2 LBSs - no luck.

I'm having the same problem. Please, somebody know of a website where I might be able to order the spacer? I'm trying to put my 9 speed shimano cassette on a mavic ksyrium hub. Or if someone has a spacer they don't need and are willing to sell it to me, send me a PM with details on how to contact you. Thanks.

I ordered a 2mm one last week, hoping it will come in in the next day or so. Only problem is the price - $.99 cents I believe. I found a couple of other things on their site to help justify the shipping....

thanks! i'm still not quite sure where to find the right item. i started looking under cassette - spacers, but didn't see any 2mm spacers.

then i started looking under freewheel - spacers, but didn't see it there either.

are you referring to hub - spacers? am i looking for the 2mm axle spacer? (item #WB-AS2)

I went on the Mavic website to find the authorized dealer nearest me and just called the shop to find out if they had any or if they can order it for me. Luckily they had one in their tool box they gave to me. I lucked out!
