Fitting QR hubs to a 20mm axle.
 

Guys, I have the Pyslo shocks that use the 20mm thru-axle. I don't have as much choice for hubs as I would if I were using normal QR hubs. Is it possible to fit a QR hub onto a forks that use 20mm fittings. Idea I have is some sort of reducer that would fit in the 20mm but have the smaller hole for fitting a QR?

If that's possible and available, is the strength and rigidity of the fixing compromised and would there be any problem with the wheel running off-centre, especially as I have a front disc so there is little freedom of movement?

If this is truly possible, has anyone tried it?

The reason for the 20mm thru-axle is to stiffen up the fork for more precise handling. Why would you want to give that up? If you are doing the kind of riding that fork is intended for, the last thng I'd want would be to have my front wheel held on with just a wimpy little quick release skewer.

Hey Bokkie, Marzocchi makes a 20mm QR that will work on any 20mm through axle. Most shops should be able to order one for you. All my hubs are through axles and I run them on a Z1 with a qr.
