Easy: Does ANYONE just sell cranks?

Please keep in mind that I'm new to this; I'm better at riding them than fixing them.

Mountain biking today I managed to bang a pedal or something, and the pedal eventually sheared off, leaving metal slivers all over and destroying pedal and crankarm. I've looked on nashbar and performance bike but can't seem to buy just a crankarm! I just want a replacement TruVativ (or similar) crankarm...do I have to buy the whole new crankset?
