RD B-screw setting
I recently installed a rear derailleur, the B screw which adjusts the angle of the derailleurs was set all the way close to the cogs and was hitting the biggest cog.
I adjusted it so it cleared the biggest cog.
Is there a recommended setting for this adjustment or should it be as close as possible to the largest cog ?
Thanks,
L

I believe that Shimano suggests (and this matches up with Suntour accushift tech docs at yellowjersey.org) one and one-half links (i.e. three half links) distance between largest cog and RD pulley for optimal index performance.
Seems to work well for me on both setups, both indexed.
