Mounting a BB cable guide
I have an old centurion with no cable guide for the bottom bracket. I want to be able to install a Shimano RSX bottom pull dérailleur, but I can't figure out a good way to install a cable guide so I can run the shifter cable under the BB. I know I could drill and re-tap the BB, but I'd rather affix the plastic to the BB shell without permanently altering the frame. Any ideas?

Super glue or epoxy. Removal will damage the paint but there will be no metal damage. The bb guide is under considerable tension from the cables so it is unlikely to shift or break the glue bond in use.

If the OP's rear derailer cable stop is on top of the chain stay, this is really the way to go, as running the cables under the BB will create a pretty severe angle going into the rear stop. But it sounds like the rear derailer cable isn't a problem now, so maybe that's handled some other way on his/her bike.
