Hollowgram SI cranks with 9speed Ultegra

Would there be any problem using Hollowgram SI cranks with my current Ultegra 9 speed components. I am hoping to use them on an 06 Six13 frame. I would also have to put on a new 31.8, 10 speed front der. and wonder if that would be compatible with a 9 speed chain. I was hoping not to have to switch over to 10 speed for $$$$ reasons.

You could have an issue with the front derailleur, the 10 speed fd's have a narrower cage than the 9 speed, which might make rub-free performance more difficult to attain.
