new crank set???
hello
my bike is an older norco kokanee and i cant put a bash guard on the crank set it came with is it worh putting a new one on just for a bash guard or is there other resones to get a new crank?

well it really depends on how big you are and how agressive of a rider you are...
Me? I'm 6'6" 260lbs and used to be into 3-4' drops, jumping, etc.. I totally ruined my stock truvativ cranks and ordered a set of truvativ holzfeller cranks. These things have been rock solid for a year and a half now. I think a good option if you want some nice cranks would be the Truvativ hussefelt. They can be had for about 60 bucks if you look around a bit (pricepoint.com, jensonusa.com, ebay).
