Ok reality check here...I don't care how light you are those wheels are NOT good wheels for a commuter. Check at your LBS or go to Performance.com and get some 32 spoked Ultegra/open pros for around $200 and you will have a much better wheel for your riding. While I am much heavier I do have nearly the same bike (I think mine is an 03) and the first thing I did was dump the wheels and I got some Salsa DelgadoX rims laced to Shimano 105 hubs. These are touring/Cyclocross/29" MTB rims and will take a lot more punishment than the stock wheels. Your 16 or 18 spoke front is neat to look at but not strong...what is the rear? 18 or 20...maybe 24 spokes? Not a commuter wheelset.
