Thingy Things
Hi there, i am rebuilding an old racer as a project and was hoping someone could help with the name of a part i need to replace. I have tried to find out the name by veiwing various bike anatomy pages and asking in shops, but alas my enquiries have been fruitless. Someone must know what theses things are called. The accessory i am talking about is a couple of small plastic spacers that fit in the rear dropout. They sit in the frame where the rear axle goes and I have been told that they are used to allign the wheel for a true run, but quite frankly i do not know myself what these things are for. However, i do know i would like to replace them if i can, so if anybody knows the name for these things, or where i can purchase them from please help. Thanks

dropout adjusters, and they come in various styles. Some are screwed in thru the rear of the dropout, others sit in the dropout itself. The purpose is too allow for quick realignment of the wheel during changes. Here's a link to the first style: https://www.loosescrews.com/index.cgi...d=436071414096
