Should I clean and lube my Campy hubs myself?

I have Campy hubs on my two Paramounts and Shimano 600 hubs on my Falcon. All of which have never been cleaned and lubed by me as all were purchased used.

My LBS wants $20/wheel and $20 / bb to clean and lube. I am okay with this price but would like some idea on how much time this would cost me if I were to do it myself. If it is a major PITA, I'll let the pros handle it. If it is a 20minute job, then I'd do it.

BTW, for reference, I am quite handy, have most tools, worked in a LBS in 1980 but find myself more inclined to let others do my work for me.

Probably 20 minutes for each part. That's less time than taking it to the shop and back, no?

[nice bikes!]

You sound confident enough in your abilities. I'd just do it myself....

If you miss the work, just do it. Money aside I actually enjoy wrenching my own rides...that is, except the Solis/Chorus group

Exactly, and $100 is $100.
