Component question
I have a 1995 F600 Cannondale Mt. bike. It is a 7-speed with grip shift. Does it have a cassette or freewheel?

Hmmm, 1995 and 7-speed could go either way Google comes up fairly empty.
A trained eye can easily distinguish them. Can you remove the wheel and take a photo of the spline pattern on the cogs? Or is their any text on the hub that might give a clue (you might have to wipe it off with a damp rag to read it!).
