    Is it bad

    to use a stem with a 25.4 clamp on a 26 track drop bar?

    Better that way than the other way around imo, as long as you can fit the bar in there and clamp it without snapping the bolt.

    It's better to use the correct stem for the bar. Stems are cheap. Good luck
