Need help upgrading fork on my Cannondale
I'm looking to lighten my '99 Cannondale SilkPath 1000 a bit and a likely candidate for replacement is the Headshok suspension fork. The headset is a Cannondale oversize CODA HeadShok. Can anyone recommend a set of replacement components that would work with this setup? What additional information do I need to get from my existing setup?
Thanks,
Jim

FSA and chris king both make reducer headsets that will allow you to use a more standard 1 1/8" steerer tube fork. i'm not sure if you're looking for another suspension fork, or a regular road fork, or what kind of brake your current setup uses, so i'll need some more info for recommendations for that. your LBS is a great place for recommendations as well, so hit them up.
