Rock Shox Faulty?
Hi all,
I ve got a GT Lightning Hard Tail, and despite a recent service, i appear to have an issue with the front forks - The shox are Rock Shox Indy SL (Yellow).
Iam getting (what feels like) a slight knocking when i pull up on my front wheel. This only occurs when im riding on the bike, applying weight to the forks etc.
Its as though something isnt connected, or theres a slight gap allowing travel inside the forks, when there should be none.
The overall performance of the shox seems good, its just unsettling to feel this loose/unsecure sensation from the forks. The shox appear to be fitted securely, so it im guessing it might be something inside the suspension.
Can anyone else relate to this kind of problem with these forks? It might just be worth my while saving for a decent set.
Any advice appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like the bushings are worn out, something that will eventually happen with enough use. I'd give up on that particular fork and shop for a new or at least a different one-

The Indy SL is an elastomer shock with about zero parts available. The knock you here might be the bushings but it is more likely the collapsing closed cell foam "springs" leaving play in the system. Unless you are very lucky you will not find these "springs" as they are way out of production.
