what does "flip it" mean when talking in reference to bikes?

Depends on the context. Flip it could refer to the handlebar stem, most bikes come with the stem pointing up. "Real men", point their stems down.

The second meaning refers to 'flipping bikes'... Buying cheap, servicing, and reselling at a profit. Bikes are bought to keep or flip.

Could be a single speed with cogs on both sides of the rear wheel, too. . .

Need more context to know what it means.
