Help! I need to install interruptor brakes

I know it was posted here before, but I can't find it now. Pics and/or diagram would be helpful too.
Thanks in advance!

remove the brake cable from the housing
peel back enough of the handle bar tape to expose the cable where you plan to put the levers
test fit the levers to make sure where you will cut the housing, repeat
cut the housing
mount the levers, making sure the cable end running under the handle bar tape is seated in the hole
install cable housing caps if needed with your levers
reinstall the brake cable
adjust brake
fix handle bar tape

edit: left out a step

Thanks! I really appreciate your help. I'll try installing it tomorrow.
The brake levers are Tektro aero levers though, not brifters, if that makes a difference.
