Is a "Fisher" always a "Gary Fisher?"
Hi everyone, I have an 80's mountain bike with the decals "Fisher" and "Advance." Can I assume that it is a "Gary Fisher?" The Shimano parts are high-quality and there is still an Advance in the Gary Fisher line today. Did older Gary Fisher's not have the Gary? Thanks.

Yes, no 'Gary'. Also, many used a 1-1/4" headset.
