Cranks creak when i pedal?

I have a problem that wehn i am pedaling on my bike the cranks creak and click. Does anyone know the problem and how it can be fixed. I am using Truvativ Hussflet isis drive cranks.

Might not be the crank. Take your pedals off and grease the threads. Happened to a bike of mine.

It could be a lot of things, many of which are not the cranks. Look at Sheldon Brown's page. He has a good article on tracking down squeaks.

Grease all your threads. Remove the crank arm bolts and grease those, the chainring bolts can loosen up over time and they need grease and also your pedals.

Always check the chainring bolts first. 4 out of 5 times I have creaking, its coming from the chainring bolts.
