203mm Disc
I am in the process of upgrading our mountain tandem to disc. I have installed an older Judy XL dual crown fork and want to install a 203mm BB7.
The fork has mounts for disc brakes, but my question is will I need an adapter for the large disc?
I will also be attempting to convert the rear non-disc frame to disc, however I am going to make sure that the 203mm will clear the chain stay before I buy the rear set.
Any help will be appreciated.

I have a Cannondale stock tandem road bike, it came with the 203s. Very tight but it fits fine. I don't see any adapters or anything.
Having said that, I'm no tandem or disc brake guru. I'd try posting in tandem section. I'm sure people will be able to help you out.

Usually if you buy a 203mm model, and it requires an adaptor to fit the standard mounting, then the adaptor is included. At least, it was for the model I purchased.

Avids come with adaptors. Hayes El Camino require a seperate purchase for the adaptor.

the caliper will be designed for a certain size rotor so if you want to run with anything other than the specified one you will need an adapter
