Campy 10spd chain: tool vs link?

I have:
-New Campy 10 speed (C10) chain
-New Wipperman Connex 10 spd (quick) link
-Campy official 10 spd chain tool (UT-CN200)

Would you recommend installing:
1-traditionally w/ Campy tool/pin and carry Connex Link just in case?
2-using the link?

I weigh 150#. Do ride in some remote areas. Will not be carrying UT-CN200 on rides

I use the Campy Ultra Narrow chain with the Wippermann (why does everyone forget that last "n") Shimano connex link. Works perfectly. Easy to remove for any required maintenance. WFIW I weigh 174.
