FSA MegaExo Crank Removal
I am trying to remove the crank of my litespeed, FSA SL-K with MegaExo BB. I removed the lockring and the M8 bolt holding the non-drive side crank arm in place. According to my understanding I should be able to pull the arm out now, except it wouldn't come out neither by applying pressure nor by a few blows with a rubber mallet. Am I missing anything or should I hit it harder?

The two pinch bolts should be removed first, then the 8 mm bolt on the end comes off. The whole thing should slide off pretty easily.

Thanks. However, there are no pinch bolts on the crank arms. The solution is to NOT open the lock ring and unscrew the M18 bolt. The pressure from the lockring drives the crank arm out.

OK I was wondering what you meant by "lockring". It has a self-extracting 8 mm bolt.
