shimano nexus 7 shifter
I have a new wheel coming with a Shimano Nexus 7 spd hub. I found this shifter on Ebay, but am not sure it is the right one.

It does not look like the ones that Sheldon's place sells. And the seller put that cryptic note at the end indicating it was for a Nexus hub with an external cassette??? I emailed them and they said they did not know what the shifter is intended for.

That probably was the derailleur shifter in that same groupo.
They probably got those shifters with the same overstock.
