Cadex 980C/Shimano 105 Bottom Bracket Specs

Does anyone know the typical bottom bracket specs for a Giant Cadex 980C with Shimano 105 (7 speed) components? I am the second owner and the bike was set up for Triathalons so I don't know if the components are stock or not.

Is there a good online source for finding this info out? Or, is there a way to find out by pulling the BB out and looking at it?

Or, does someone have an inexpensive compact crank that would be compatible because that's all I'm really trying to do.

Thanks!

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Removing the bottom bracket and reading the specs on it or measuring the spindle width will tell you for certain what you have. If your not sure it's OEM then knowing what originally came on the bike may be misleading.

Thanks, I'll pull the bb off. That seems like the best option.
