Is it safe to assume if I order $7.95 brake shoes I get a pair (2)?

Nashbar isn't completely clear on this, but I assume I get them in pairs?

It's a safe bet to assume a pair of brake shoes.

It's kind of like shoes for your feet. What good is a single one?

yeah, but still, its Nashbar. Who knows what they are capable of.

jim

p.s., check your actual credit card bill when you get it and see if it matches what you thought you paid when you ordered.

Yes, you get a pair of brake shoes but only one wheel's worth. You need two pairs if you are going to change the brake on both wheels.

I'd laugh my ass off if it really was only for one shoe.

Yeah, and why is it a "pair" of pants? At one time was it possible to buy just one pant? A scissor?

For $7.95 you'll get a pair.
But for $25+ you'll get only a left or right shoe if you want the label "Made in Italy".

Bad analogy, as those are things that are one complete item. A better one would be "can you only buy one shoe".

Yes, it is a purposely bad analogy. It's called a malapropism and is considered a form of humor by some.

Not necessarily a a dumb question depending on how you look at it. I read Raleigh71's question as 'Do I get front and rear brake pads?', not 'Do I get left and right brake pads?' Yes pads come in 'pairs' of left and right. But a 'pair' of brake pads could be interpreted as being 2 sets of pairs.

No, Raleigh71, for $7.95, you can't expect to get a front set and a rear set...as HillRider pointed out.
