any tires that measure 28mm wide?

My Continental 28s measure 25mm at 90 psi, my Panaracer Pasela 35 measure about 32mm at 60 psi. So will Pasela 32s measure about 29 to 30? Any recommendations for a 700C tire that will end up around 28mm or less? I don't want to buy the Pasela 32s and find out they don't fit.

In my experience Schwalbe tires are pretty spot on, if not a millimeter large.

I just measured sets of identical 28mm Gatorskins on two bikes. They measure 26mm on the road bike with Velocity Aerohead rims and 28mm on the tandem with Velocity Dyad rims.

OK... this is telling me that rim width plays a part in this. I'll be using 19-20mm rims (outside measure), so maybe that's where the narrower measurement comes in?

If it's any help, my Pasela 28 mm on that size rim measures 26mm.

Thanks - makes me think that their 32s will come out to 29mm. Any Pasela 32 users out there with calipers? Otherwise, I'll go buy one tomorrow and see.

I can't imagine there's any way to guess how wide they'll be until they're mounted and inflated.

My 32mm Pasela TG's measure about 30mm wide (shade over) on an Open Pro with about 70 psi. Used a caliper to measure.

thanks! My 5 year old Pasela 35s measure 30, and your 32 TGs measure 30..... I think I'll buy new 28s and see if they fit.
