Rim Color opinions ?

I'm thinking of getting a new rear rim. The color choices are silver, black or camo.

Would camo flavour be overly juvenile?

The bicycle is bright orange with an already black color scheme. Located here

Your opinions please.

PS. Sorry this has nothing to do with wrenching. I'd just like to know the opinions of wrenches.

only if you lose your wheel in the woods!

people get all weird when they see color coordinated bikes or simply bikes with some attempt at individuality and I don't know why.

I like em, they remind me of all that blue/red anodizing that was all the rage in the 80's BMX/park craze, and some of those japanese/nyc/sf "candy" fixed gear bikes are simply beautiful.

I say build up the bike however YOU like, not everything needs to be black, or silver.

camo would be pretty tight to me dude, nice hardtail too!

"Back in the day"...I had a set of the Kawasaki green Sun Doublewides on my DH bike. I thought they were the shiznit...before "shiznit" entered the public lexicon.

Rim brakes will slowly eat through the color. I've got all black wheels and am putting up with the color change on the brake surface. Not a huge deal, but... bk

Personally, I'd try to match the color of the front rim... If you're planning on eventually replacing the front rim...eh, I think your bike looks good the way it is.

Great looking bike just the way it is. Except that next photo get the "Kendra" name at the same angle on both tires.

It's your ride. Make it look the way you want.

Rule of thumb is that is your bike, do what makes you happy; not what makes the crowd happy. (btw great looking bike)

The weirder the bike looks, the easier it will be to re located it if it ever gets stolen.
