Wrenches to remove Campy threaded headset?

Can anyone tell me what size wrenches are needed to remove a Campy record threaded headset? I assume that I need 2 specialized wrenches. Right?

Do I need a Campy specific tool (it doesn't appear that way). Is there any specific trick to doing it, or is it as simple as hold one ring with one wrench and turn the other ring with another wrench? Thanks for the help.

If you're talking the older chunky headsets, they are 32mm wrenches, thin enough to fit. Campy made headset wrenches that were that thing. The Park and some others are a bit thicker and don't fit really well unless you force it or do stuff that really isn't proper.

There was one other company that made thin enough wrenches, the name escapes me. They made a "braced" wrench, it resembled the SRAM brakes rather than a Campy brake - in other words, the "other" company's wrench had reinforcements that came from the handle out to the edges of the "open end" section. The Campy headset wrench simply looked like a monster cone wrench.

    hope this helps,

I use one headset wrench (like the giant cone wrench mentioned by cdr) for the cup flats and a 12" adjustable wrench for the locknut. The headset wrench I use accommodates 4 different sizes, like this:
