Revoshift cable change

Hi all, my first post here

Well im 15 and have just replaced my gear cables and sleeves (amongst other things). My gear shifters are Shimano V brake all in one thingies so it was dead easy, and adjusting wasnt much harder

My mates bike has Revoshift shifters (i HATE them with a passion but hey) and amonsgt other things he needs new cables since they are frayed and the sleeves are split (i havnt had chance to do all the work it needs yet). I belive revoshifters are spring loaded or something?

So yeah how would i go about getting into the shifter and putting it back together again after wards?

Thanks in advance, alex
