F80X Knocking = Loose bushings, or normal

I have a Fox F80X that is really pretty lightly used, but new to me, ~2-3 months. When I squeeze and hold the front brake and rock the bike back and forth, as if checking for a loose headset, I get some knocking from the fork. Is this normal, abnormal, etc.?

Maybe time to send it to Push even though it hasn't had a tough life...?

Any thoughts, or help appreciated. Have not found anything in the search function.

Mike

Fox considers that normal. The term they use is "hydrodynamic lubrication".

See page 20 of this owners manual for the whole story.
