Hybrid seat post suggestions

I have a Trek 7500 hybrid and the seat post angle and seat are killing the center of my ba!!s/t@int. Painful doesn't describe it. I also have a Tarmac roadie with a Toupe 143 saddle, that is way more narrow and 100X more comfortable.

The Trek 7500 is now my knock around bike or grocerstore bike mostly ridden when out with my 4 year old son. But to the point, I cannot get any relief with the seats I've tried. Is there a seat post that can be adjusted forward to give me more of a 90deg rise and take some pressure off the 'tain@t? I've tried different seats etc. Something's gotta give here or my son might not get any siblings..

you know that you like the toupe 143 saddle, why not get another one of those?

I dont understand what you are asking about the special seatpost/90deg rise.

Most modern seat post allow for the saddle to slide back and forth, and tilt up and down. Perhaps something like a narrow gel saddle with "the open cut in the front" like the Terry saddles might help.

My C'Dale Road Warrior 500 (fitness bike) had a crappy suspension seat post and stock seat. I needed a zero setback seatpost so I upgraded to a Thomson Elite and a Terry Fly saddle. I have since upgraded to a Brooks B17N and an offset Thomson Elite. The Fly was a great saddle, but I wanted the old school look of a B17.

Try the Fly (Performance) at least you can return it if it doesn't work out for you.
