downtube shifter conversion brackets for STI levers
anyone happen to have a spaere pair of these adapters they don't mind parting with? I'm converting an old steel frame bike (26.8mm tubing) to STI, but the levers are used and have no adapters.
Figured I'd ask. I was told a lot of wrenches have them laying around since the levers all come with these but are rarely used with newer bikes.
thanks in advance!

It sounds like you know it, but just in case... If nobody has spares, they are available seperately.

cool
I can ask the LBS. we only have one, and its a very small shop (very rural area here)
Its not like when I lived in DC and could ask a dozen shops lol
I just figures someone may have a pair laying around they had no need for, and might want to toss em in an envelope or something, before I had to drive across state to find a set, or use loose screws. same reason I am buying the STI levers used instead of paying $120 for them from the same site. The bike probably isn't worth $120 in all honesty, as much as I adore it.. so this build is sort of on the cheap as much as possible.
anyway thanks for the advice. sorry if this came across as begging.. lol it was mostly an afterthought to see if someone had a spare set handy.
