frame transfers
Whats the best way to remove old transfers from the frame without damaging the paint job ?

get the denatured stuff (SLX)
(yes 100 proof vodka will work)
UNLESS your transfer is under a clear coat, then it's practically impossible.

Assuming that a transfer is a decal, I've taken some off in the past...inadvertently
...with a high pressure car wash. Like you said, if it's under the paint, leave it alone unless you want a new paint job.
