skewer length - 8 vs. 10 speed
I just got a new pair of skewers to update an old pair that were beat up and had nylon ends.
It is a 1999 Cannondale with 130mm rear spacing. These are new Dura Ace 7800 skewers. I think they are made for 10 speed cassette setups. I have an 8 speed.
Before installing them and "un-newing" them...can anyone tell me if they'll be the right length? I am rather sure the front will definitely fit, what about the rear?
(I think they will, just wanted to check.)
