Shimano chain tool
Is there any reason I should buy the "official" Shimano chain tool for $32 vs. the Spin Doctor version for $7.99? I will use it a few times a year, so durability is not an issue.

skip both and get the Park CT-5. a little more than the spin doctor but will hold up for ever. you can also buy replacement pins in the future if you ever need to.

I am very skeptical of Spin Doctor chain whips after the one that came in my Spin Doctor essential tool kit popped one of its chain pins while I was removing a cassette. I would go for the Park.
