Brother can you spare...

...a couple tires and inner tubes? We're working on putting together a bicycle for a veteran who needs both the exercise and transportation.

Since we're a ministry, money is an issue and we're trying to do this as cheaply as possible. If anyone has a couple of tires and inner tubes they could spare, it would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks in advance for the help!

You're telling me that tires and tubes is what's holding you back? That sounds goofy to me. At various times of my life I've pieced together a bunch of bikes from junk. I don't ever remember ever having difficulty finding useable tires or tubes.

No, they're not holding us back...they're just the only items we haven't found a donor for. Thanks for the inquiry though.

Yes, we have. Even have offered to trade-off some labor in exchange for the tires and inner tubes. Still waiting on a yes/no decision from them. But thanks for the input!

Maybe they, like us, are waiting on the required SIZE(s)!

Jerry: do you realize that postage for a tire and tube is likely to cost more than the items? Tubes = $3 or so; cheap discount tires: $10. You understand you're communicating with people throughout the world?

You should drum up $25 in local donations and buy two tires and two tubes!!
