shimano rear derailer _which way round pulleys go**********

Have taken apart for cleaning rear derailer shimano deoreXT and forgotten which way round the pulleys go?
I have one sealed ceramic bush pulley and one sealed bearing pulley . anyone know**********?

If one of the pulleys has side to side play in the bearing it goes on top.

WHICH "rear derailer shimano deoreXT"?? There's 8 or 9 of them. Look for a model number.

My Ultegra 9 has the ceramic bushing on top. I don't know if that matters or not. I don't think it would.
I also don't think it matters if you put the pulley in backwards or not, it looks bi-directional.

Ceramic goes on top. Use grease not oil. Mine squeaked after a few hundred miles.

have knoe put back together with the ceramic pully on top and sealed bearings on bottom ... thanks
