gear shifts
my bike has shimano gear shifts code number: mrx100-71 these need to be relaced so i purchased some new gear shifts. These are sram shifters mrx plus/ mrx.
I woul like to know if these are the same as the shimano gear shifts before i start to fit them!
Can someone let me know if this is the case? thanks for your help

As long as it's a 2:1 ratio shifter and matches the number of rear cogs, it will work with Shimano derailleurs.

SRAM MRX shifters will work with Shimano derailleurs. Some other SRAM shifters won't.

hi i fitted my sram grip shifts with my shimano derailleurs no problem big thanks to wordbiker and retro grouch.
