fork issue
hey--
noticed this problem on my bike, not sure how to fix it. (or if it's vital that i do)

Looks like a bent steer tube, assuming that it is still attached. At the least you probably need a new fork and possibly a new headset. Time for a new bike?

I agree the steerer tube is certainly bent. What did you run into? Anyway, you need a new fork at a minimum and, as Al1943 said, almost surely a new headset. If the frame's headtube was ovalized by the impact, the frame may be toast too.

It seems odd that he fork bent that way. I'd think it would be more usual to have it bend the other way--from a front-end impact.

never had a front impact on that bike, got it used though, could have been weakened by the previous owner.

Previous owner must have been riding the bike backwards, common in trick riding.
