Rim recommendation for 29er, Big Apple 2.35
Hello all,
I have a pair of Mavic A317 Disc rims on my Karate Monkey. I have, until now, run Specialized Armadillos in road sizes, but would like to move to some fat tires for smoother commuting. Mavic recommends a max width of 47 for these rims, while the Schwalbes will run 60. What would be a good rim for these really wide tires? Would I be tempting fate by putting these tires on my current rims?
Thanks for the help.

You may shorten the life of your rims a little depending on weight and tire pressure.

Hmm, thanks for the good news. I wasn't looking forward to replacing these rims, so it's good to hear I can at least give it a try.
